At the heart of Lazy L Lake Campground is our stunning 75-acre lake — a private body of water perfect for swimming, boating, and relaxing on the shore. Our sandy swimming beach provides a family-friendly spot to cool off, build sandcastles, and wade into the water at your own pace. Launch your boat from the paved boat ramp, or bring the kids to our inflatable water park anchored just off the beach. Whether you're looking for a lazy afternoon on the sand or an action-packed day on the water, our lake has something for everyone.

Lake Day Tips
- Apply sunscreen before heading out — the sun reflects off the water and you can burn quickly
- Rinse off after swimming — a quick freshwater rinse helps keep your skin comfortable
- Stay hydrated — bring plenty of water, especially on hot days
- Watch your step near the shoreline — rocks and roots can be slippery when wet
- Keep an eye on young children around the water at all times
RV Park Facilities
Our RV park is built for comfort and convenience, no matter the size of your rig. Every RV site includes water and electric hookups with 30 AMP or 50 AMP service (each site is one or the other). Full hookup (sewer) is available on a limited basis — call ahead to check availability. We are big rig friendly — motorhomes and fifth wheels up to 45 feet are welcome. Prefer something simpler? Primitive tent camping is always available at Lazy L Lake, with shaded tent sites near the water and full access to all campground amenities.

Water Recreation
There is no shortage of ways to enjoy the water at Lazy L Lake. Our on-site water park features inflatable obstacles and slides anchored in the lake — a hit with kids and adults alike. Rent a kayak, paddle board, or canoe and explore the peaceful coves and wooded shoreline at your own pace. Anglers will love the fishing here — the lake is stocked and stocked with bass, bluegill, catfish, crappie, carp, gar, and more waiting to bite. Launch your own boat from the paved boat ramp, or fish from the shoreline and the dock.

For minnows, goldfish, and more, visit our main bait store — Lazy L Lake Bait & Tackle (100 E National Ave, West Terre Haute, IN 47885) — less than 5 minutes away. Our paved boat ramp makes launching and loading your boat quick and easy, and the on-site dump station keeps your RV ready to roll when it is time to head home. Everything is maintained and managed on-site so your stay is as hassle-free as possible.
